Gordon Christensen, DDS, MSD, PhD, ScD
Gordon J. Christensen is Founder and Director of Practical Clinical Courses (PCC) in Utah, and Dean of the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry (SCD) in Arizona. Both groups are international continuing education organizations providing courses and videos for all dental professionals. David Garber, DMD
Dr. David Garber is one of the internationally recognized multidisciplinary educators well-known as “Team Atlanta.” Dr. Garber is the recipient of “The 2005 Gordon J. Christensen Lecturer Recognition Award,” “The American College of Prosthodontics Distinguished Lecturer Award,” “The Northeastern Periodontal Society Isador Hirschfeld Award for Clinical Excellence,” “The Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics Distinguished Lecturer Award,” and “The David Serson Medal of Research.” He is a past president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Garber is dual trained clinician and professor in the Department of Periodontics as well as in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Georgia. He is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Louisiana State University and a Clinical Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Texas in San Antonio.

Ken Hebel, DDS, MSc
Dr. Kenneth Hebel received his dental degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1979,
his specialty certi?cate in Prosthodontics from Eastman Dental Center in 1983 and a Masters of
Science degree in Anatomy at the University of Rochester in 1985.
Dr. Hebel has the appointment of Adjunct Professor at the School of Dentistry, University of
Western Ontario. He also maintains a private practice in London, Ontario, Canada, where he
provides both advanced surgical and prosthetic phases of Implant Dentistry. He is a Certi?ed
Prosthodontist, a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of
the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Hebel is a published author and lectures on all phases of restorative and implant dentistry.
He has presented over hundreds of lectures over ?ve continents. In addition, he is director of the

Dr. Samuel Lee is an international lecturer in dental implants and orthodontics. He has written several articles about his Crestal Window Sinus Grafting Technique and Temporary Anchorage Device (orthodontic implants). He is the recipient of 2008 Best Table Clinic Presentation Award from American Academy of Implant Dentistry, 2008 International Congress of Oral Implantology, and 2007 American Orthodontic Society. Stanley Malamed, DDS
Doctor Malamed was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, graduating from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1969. He then completed a dental internship and residency in anesthesiology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in the Bronx, New York before serving for 2 years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. In 1973, Doctor Malamed joined the faculty of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, in Los Angeles, where today he is Professor of Anesthesia & Medicine. Dr. Malamed is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, as well as a recipient of the Heidebrink Award [1996] from the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the Horace Wells Award from the International Federation of Dental Anesthesia Societies, 1997 (IFDAS).
Doctor Malamed has authored more than 120 scientific papers and 16 chapters in various medical and dental journals and textbooks in the areas of physical evaluation, emergency medicine, local anesthesia, sedation and general anesthesia. In addition, Dr. Malamed is the author of three widely used textbooks, published by CV Mosby: Handbook of Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office (6th edition 2006); Handbook of Local Anesthesia (5th edition 2004); and Sedation - a guide to patient management (4th edition 2003) and two interactive DVDs: Emergency Medicine (2004) and Malamed's Local Anesthetic Technique DVD (2004).
In his spare time, Doctor Malamed is an avid runner, exercise enthusiast, and admits an addiction to the New York Times crossword puzzle, which he has done daily since his freshman year in dental school.

Carl Misch, DDS, MDS
Dr. Carl E. Misch is currently a Clinical Professor and Director of Oral Implantology at Temple University School of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontology. Dr. Misch is a Fellow of 12 different societies, including the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He is also co-inventor of the BioHorizons Dental Implant System. He has published over 200 articles and repeatedly lectures in most state in the United States as well as 47 countries.
In 1984, Dr. Misch founded the Misch International Implant Institute, which have locations in Michigan and Canada.
The first and second editions of Contemporary Implant Dentistry (C.V. Mosby) have become the most popular books in dentistry and has been translated into several languages. Dental Implant Prosthetics is his most recent text (Elsevier-Mosby).

Dr. André Saadoun is an internationally-known lecturer in Periodontology and Implantology and has written over 150 articles and several chapters of books.
He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontology, a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and President of the “Rencontres Méditerranéennes de Dentisterie.” He has also received the medal of “Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite.”

Henry Salama, DMD
Dr. Salama received his post-doctoral specialty certificates in both periodontics and periodontal-prosthesis, fixed prosthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the former director of the Implant Research Center, at the University of Pennsylvania, where he continues to be an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics.
Dr. Salama has lectured and published internationally on esthetic reconstructive therapy. He is a member of Team Atlanta and is on the Editorial Board of DentalXP.com, an internationally recognized web learning site. His private clinical practice in Atlanta is limited to advanced restorative and implant therapy. His clinical research activities focus on long-term stability of esthetic soft tissue enhancement techniques, as well as immediate and early loading of root form implants.

Dr. Maurice Salama is currently on the Faculty of the Universtiy of Pennsylvania and the Medical College of Georgia as Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics, and is visiting Professor of Periodontics at Nova Uiversity in Florida. Dr. Salama is a partner in the Atlanta Esthetic Dental Practice known as "Team Atlanta." Dr. Salama served as the Dental Expert for Channel 5 Fox TV in Atlanta. Recently, Dr. Salama has been a speaker at programs for the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Association or Orthodontists, the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the Interdisciplinary Care Conference presented by five Academies, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Alpha Omega International, and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Hilt Tatum is an Associate Professor, Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Implantology at the University of Lille Medical School as well as a Clinical Professor of Oral Implantology in the Department of Periodontology at Temple University School of Dentistry. He currently lectures extensively and teaches at the Tatum Institute.
Dr. Tatum is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and a Past President of both organizations. He has lectured and published extensively on dental implant procedures for over 35 years and has trained thousands of dentists during his career. He has developed and patented many instruments. These unique instruments including the Tatum Implant System are currently used worldwide. Dr. Tatum has presented more than 2000 podium presentations around the world and is considered a true pioneer in our profession.
Dr. Tatum is the originator of the Sinus Augmentation and Sinus Lift procedures, as well as bone expansion techniques for implant placement. He received the Legion of Honor of Award from the President of France in 2003 for his contributions to the dental profession.

Matthew R. Young, DDS
Matthew Young, originally from Buffalo, New York, received his Bachelors of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University. He then returned to Buffalo and attended The Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree graduating with honors.
After dental school, Dr. Young entered the Albert Einstein Medical Center residency program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here he won the prestigious Lebby award for Outstanding Resident of the Year.
After the residency program, Dr. Young practiced in the Philadelphia area for seven years, providing the optimum in patient care. He is active in many national and local dental organizations and serves as an attending clinician at the Albert Einstein Medical Center residency program. Dr. Young is now happy to practice in San Francisco, caring for the health of his patients.
Dr. Young has spent a considerable amount of time performing volunteer work with the group Operation Smile. These missions include working on patients with cleft lips and palates and those in need of dental care. A key component of these missions is to educate the local dentists through hands-on seminars and formal lectures.
Dr. Young has had extensive postgraduate training through continuing education courses and is proficient in many aspects of dentistry. He has had extensive training in implant dentistry. Dr. Young lectures to dental professionals nationally and internationally on implant dentistry.
Dr. Young has received many awards for both his academic and clinical excellence, but the award he is particularly proud of is the Labenski Award. Qualifications for this award include: the desire to learn the maximum without compromising quality patient care; and consideration for patients, staff and peers. Patient comfort has and continues to be one of his prime concerns.
